Scotland Edinburg dubbed the second largest after Glasgow is by far one of the best places we have visited so far. Famous for its castles and acting as one of the largest financial powerhouse, it truly has much to offer. We venture to Edinburg without knowing much of the city let alone the country, and we were surprised with what it has to offer.

Approximately 8 hour journey by train we finally arrived. The station itself was a piece of art. It somehow look more advance than London, amazingly or because it's not as busy? Anyway, we waste no time and start exploring the city. First meal, we were introduced to Haggis, and innocent as it may sound, it's actually a mixture of all the internal parts of a sheep. Not like it's very foreign to me, but at least a warning beforehand could really help. Nonetheless we had a great dinner and enjoyed the atmosphere.

Day two was pretty busy, and we had a walk around the city of Edinburg with temperature at about 3 Celsius and it was somewhat really pleasant. Maybe it's the excitement of a new city but I reckon it's the company I had. Castle, monuments, parks, shopping's, gardens and heaps more. We covered pretty much in a day I'll say.

A visit to Falkirk Wheel was icing on the cake. To be honest we kinda stumble across this landmark when we are walking around the city of Edinburg. We saw some brochures and we thought why not let's pay a visit? It's actually a 'kinda lift' for boats which travel along the Union Canal. This so called lift actually 'connects' the Union Canal to the Forth & Clyde Canal by lifting or descending your boat at the end of Union Canal. It was a long walk to that landmark but it's worthwhile nonetheless

Describing the city it something I can't really managed, it's those kind where you'll have to see to believe and be there to really understand. Lots of my friend told me there is nothing up here apart from building and old ruins, but I am sure they have not seen what I saw. To me this city resonate history and pride, it is a city that filled with old building but with character.  It's a place where whisky is one of the most famous products, and damm they are good at it. You'll really understand what I meant once you sign up for the whisky tasting. It will challenge your understanding of whisky and obviously your alcohol tolerance level. But hey, what's they fun when you don't try whisky when you are in Scotland?
