Next Wat Phra Pathom Chedi, this literally means the temple for the passed. This temple is the biggest of it's kind in Thailand as what i've been told. And it's very huge. Upon arriving i could see the temple from 800 meter at least. Please note that most of my vision is covered by the obstacles along the road so you can roughly imagine how big this temple is.

Bangkok - Temple Hoppings.

i do must admit that my flight was not the best. Don't get me wrong, Thai airline did a great job getting me a great seat. Well it's the first row, so i'll have no problem when streatching me leg. However the lady that's sitting behind me, for some freak reason, she keep on knocking at my chair and i just can't get a good sleep. Nonetheless the journey was pretty pleasant.
Reaching Bangkok at 5 in the morning, nothing much i could do - so head back to my apartment and get a good sleep obviously. Oh, also thanks to my sister in law for keeping it cleaned for us. Bed, sweet bed!
Journey starts 11.30am, a drive down memory lane (to see what's changed). Then we head for lunch. Nothing speacial, a new place called 'Baan Somtum', decent but was very crowded due to holidays and they are a few that's open for business.
So we head to Wat Rahu which took us about 40 minutes driving. This is actually the second time i am visiting this temple, much has changed since. More way or 'promotions' is setup to encourage you to donates. I wished i could have snapped more pictures to share, however i was a little busy praying. Well it's almost a year since i 'properly' prayed. So i guess it's long due to thanked the 'above' for keeping me healthy and prosper thoughtout 2010. In summary, praying in this temple requires 8 blacked coloured offerings. Sound difficult? fear not my child as the temple prepared everything for you and you'll just need to donate 300 baht per set of items. any other donations is not compulsory though welcomed.

I am very excited to see such a huge structure to be honest. This is like seeing The Pyramid of Egypt (though one day i WILL go and see the real thing). As fortunate as i am, they always say HE is always fair and it proved so. I get to see such a stunning structure but i was not  allowed into the central of the structure.
Reason? It's under renovation and remodification. So i ended up only be able to see this structure from the outside. Nonetheless it's still interesting. Done a lot of praying and donations over here to, and may my wishes be heard and realised!
